I am currently the Retail Operations and People Manager for Up and Running. Having been with the company since 2017 when I joined as the Retail Store Manager at Chester before progressing into my current role. I have helped see the company through tough times such as the pandemic and into the current running boom that us and the industry are experiencing. I first started working within the running industry back in 2010 when I left my previous careers as an Accountant to take up a Sales Assistant role at a retailer at the time called Sweatshop in Manchester. Personally, I have been running competitively for over 35 years, and I love the running industry and the customers that we get through our doors each day. It is so rewarding seeing customers achieve their potential as it is now seeing the staff across the company I look after achieving their career potential.
