Laurent Petit is a Belgian entrepreneur, community builder, and sustainability advocate who believes every workout can create positive change.
As the co-founder of Active Giving, he has helped build a platform that transforms everyday physical activity into funding for environmental and social initiatives, enabling runners, cyclists, walkers, and other athletes to support projects such as reforestation and community development simply by staying active.
Inspired by a solo cycling journey across Europe and years of organizing running communities in Berlin, Laurent combined his passions for entrepreneurship, endurance sports, and climate action into a mission-driven business. Before launching Active Giving, he founded Urban Art Run, using running events to bring people together while supporting charitable causes.
Today, he continues to champion the idea that sport can be a powerful catalyst for collective action, encouraging brands, communities, and individuals to improve both personal wellbeing and the health of the planet through purposeful movement. Join Laurent in his work through Active Giving and his new circular economy program, orbitsandpieces.
