ALTALIST is a Japanese sports eyewear brand. Our name combines ALTA with LIST, drawn from SPECIALIST. It reflects our commitment to expertise and our desire to keep moving forward.
We design eyewear for cyclists, runners, outdoor enthusiasts, and children beginning to explore the world. A smile. Our miles. expresses what matters to us: the journeys we share, the people beside us, and the smiles we find along the way.
ALTALIST products begin with planning and design in Japan. Ideas take shape through development and prototypes, then become dependable eyewear through careful material selection, skilled manufacturing, assembly, and quality checks. Beginning with cycling, our eyewear has grown to serve running, children, and outdoor life. Series names such as KISOU, KAKU, KIDO, HAYATE, KIZUNA, and KAY come from Japanese words or characters, carrying a connection to our origins as the product family evolves.
Today, ALTALIST grows alongside partners, sporting communities, and wearers in different parts of the world. From Japan, we will continue moving forward together toward A Brighter Tomorrow.

ALTALIST Technology
Designed beyond the surface. ALTALIST brings lens technology, fit, frame construction, materials, and practical features together as one system. Our lenses include photochromic, polarized, and mirror options, alongside VIV20, VIV PLUS, ADV Photochromic, ADV Mirror, and VPP Anti-Fog technologies. Selected models also feature 2-in-1 multifunction lenses or ALTALIST × ZEISS optical solutions.
Fit options include five nose-fit designs, adjustable temples, and angle-adjustable temples. Frame types, structural design, lens construction, and lightweight engineering are tailored to different uses: models weighing 21 g are classified as ultralight, while those weighing 25–29 g are lightweight. We select PC, TAC, TR-90, BRC10, and carbon fiber according to the needs of each component. Interchangeable lenses, inner frames for prescription lenses, and removable side shields add flexibility for different activities.
Each model brings together the technologies suited to its purpose, making clear vision, comfort, and practical performance feel natural in sport and outdoor life.

KISOU, KAKU, and KIDO are designed for cyclists, with a focus on clear vision, protection, a secure fit, and lasting comfort. HAYATE is made for runners, combining lightweight construction with stability and protection. KAY and OVERGLASS bring everyday style, polarized lenses, and an adaptable fit to activities such as fishing, hiking, driving, and travel. KIZUNA offers eyewear for children of different ages, with attention to protection, fit, and styles they enjoy wearing.
